Amanda Kricken

Trainer | Frozen Ropes 307

Amanda Kricken brings years of competitive softball experience and a passion for developing young athletes to Frozen Ropes 307. Since first falling in love with the game at nine years old, Amanda has dedicated herself to learning, competing, and growing as a player while building a strong foundation in the sport.

A lifelong Laramie softball player, Amanda competed through the Laramie Girls Softball program before continuing her career at Laramie High School. Throughout her playing career, she developed versatility on the field by competing as a pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the game and what it takes to succeed in multiple positions.

Amanda’s primary specialty is fastpitch pitching instruction, where she focuses on developing proper mechanics, consistency, confidence, accuracy, and game-ready skills. She also provides instruction in hitting and fielding, helping athletes build a complete skill set while strengthening the fundamentals necessary for long-term success.

What Amanda enjoys most about coaching is helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. She believes some of the most rewarding moments come when players master a new skill, gain confidence in their abilities, and begin to see the results of their hard work in games and practices. Her positive, patient, and encouraging coaching style creates an environment where athletes feel comfortable learning, making mistakes, and continuing to improve.

Amanda is committed to helping every athlete develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game while reaching their full potential as players and teammates.
